Funtown has locked up the coffee and cocoa at the park. I loved the fact that Winstar cared about the safety of it's patrons. They don't have bus service to the RV park at Choctaw. This is the reason we come to Winstar instead of Choctaw. You can call, but that takes much longer, & you have to wait outside in the dark by the office. Also, Funtown has stopped regular bus runs after midnight.
It also increases foot traffic in the park at night, hearing people talking by your camper window at night while they take a short-cut is un-nerving. But even for the younger guests, walking back to your RV in the dark at 2am, across the park, coming back from a casino, drunk or tipsy, with cash, is a bit risky. Maybe Funtown is trying to weed out older folks like us. Many of the guests are over 60 and although not 'officially' deemed handicapped, have ailments with backs and knees that prevent them from walking long distances back to their site. The Casino buses are no longer allowed to take you back to your RV sites. Funtown RV has taken over the park and made some major changes. The Winstar RV park was always our favorite.
